    Payment & Fees

    OnsStay operates on a profit-sharing model that benefits both hosts and guests. Our fee structure is designed to be competitive and transparent: - For guests: A service fee 14 as a maximum of the booking subtotal - For hosts: A host service fee of 2-4% of the booking subtotal Our unique phased pricing strategy ensures hosts earn approximately 2% more compared to other platforms while guests often pay less.

    OnsStay implements a phased pricing approach: - First 2 months: 0% host fees and 12% guest fees (we will be running multiple launching campaigns), third month onward: Host fees increase to reach 2-4% while maintaining guest fees - ensuring hosts still earn 1-2% more than on competing platforms.

    After a guest checks in, payments will be transferred to your registered bank account within 24 hours. You can choose your preferred payment method, including direct bank transfer or digital wallets.

    OnsStay accepts a variety of payment methods, including: - Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) - Digital wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay) - Direct bank payments – Buy now pay later powered by Regional payment options customized for the GCC and Middle East region.

    Yes! OnsStay offers innovative payment flexibility through our “Buy Now, Pay Later” option for guest trips. We also provide financing options for hosts looking to renovate their properties through our trusted partners (under development).

    OnsStay Host Fee Structure OnsStay host fees are based on the chosen cancellation policy, providing greater flexibility for hosts and encouraging them to offer diverse options to guests. This structure is designed to align with common practices in similar accommodation platforms, considering fees ranging from 2-4%. Cancellation Policy Tiers and Host Fees: Tier 1: Flexible Cancellation Policy • Description: Guests can cancel up to 24 hours before check-in for a full refund. No payment is made to the host in case of cancellation. If the guest cancels after that, the host will be paid for each night stayed, plus one additional night. • Host Fee: 2% of the total booking amount. Tier 2: Moderate Cancellation Policy • Description: Guests can cancel up to 5 days before check-in for a full refund. No payment is made to the host in case of cancellation. If the guest cancels after that, the host will be paid for each night stayed, plus one additional night, plus 50% for all unspent nights. • Host Fee: 2.5% of the total booking amount. Tier 3: Firm Cancellation Policy • Description: To receive a full refund, guests must cancel at least 30 days before check-in. If they cancel between 7 and 30 days before check-in, the host will be paid 50% of all nights. If they cancel less than 7 days before check-in, the host will be paid 100% of all nights. Guests can also receive a full refund if they cancel within 48 hours of booking, provided the cancellation occurs at least 14 days before check-in. • Host Fee: 3% of the total booking amount. Tier 4: Strict Cancellation Policy • Description: To receive a full refund, guests must cancel within 48 hours of booking, and the cancellation must occur at least 14 days before check-in. If they cancel 14 or more days before check-in but not within 48 hours of booking, the host will be paid 50% of all nights. If they cancel between 7 and 14 days before check-in, the host will be paid 50% of all nights. If they cancel after that, the host will be paid 100% of all nights. • Host Fee: 4% of the total booking amount. Important Notes: • These fees apply to the total booking amount before any taxes are calculated. • A 5% Value Added Tax (VAT) is calculated separately on host income, host fees, and guest fees for residents in the UAE. • VAT is not applied to guests from outside the UAE.

    Host Protection & Security

    OnsStay provides comprehensive protection for hosts, including: - total $1,000 a year in damage protection covering art, valuables, cars, boats, and other property in-case host chooses to use OnsStay protection program without charging and security deposits, Maximum 5 claims a year starting one month from the first hosting ($ 300 Max in each claim) - Guest screening and background checks where legally permitted - Proprietary reservation screening technology to reduce the risk of disruptive parties - 24/7 support in multiple languages including Arabic and English, host may need to provide proofs of damage caused by the guests, ownership and best efforts done for the collection of the funds or any other requirements depending on the claim nature.

    OnsStay implements a thorough verification process for all guests, which may include: - Government ID verification - Phone number verification - Email verification - Payment method verification - Review of past booking history and ratings

    All transactions on OnsStay are processed through our secure payment system with industry-standard encryption. We never share your payment information with hosts or guests. Our payment gateway implements multiple security measures including 3D Secure authentication and fraud detection systems.

    Unique OnsStay Features

    Each OnsStay listing comes with a comprehensive E-guide that includes: - House rules and instructions - Detailed location information and directions - Check-in and check-out procedures - WiFi login details - Important notes about the property - Emergency contact information - Host recommendations for local attractions, restaurants, and services (under development).
